How to draw a bubble letter V
Tip for V: Round the bottom point so it looks like a soft balloon, not a sharp arrow.
- Write a plain V lightly in pencil. Leave a finger-width gap around it, because bubble letters grow.
- Draw a rounded outline around the pencil lines. Keep the same distance all the way round and turn every corner into a curve.
- Make the holes small and round. Tiny counters (the insides of A, B, O, P) make letters look puffed up.
- Erase the pencil and ink the outline with a black marker. Overlap neighbouring letters slightly for a chunky look.
- Add a 3D shadow and a shine. Thicken the bottom-right edge, then leave a small white highlight near the top-left.
